Manuel Steinbrecher is one of our "super technicians" without whom the instrumental and methodological development of scaning probe microscopy would not be possible. He received a PhD in Physics at the University of Hamburg in 2017. In 2018, he joined the SPM department as a postdoc, initially focusing on research projects. In 2021, he transitioned into the technical staff role, but still has one foot in various scientific projects. He has 17 peer-reviewed publications.
